OsiSense XMLK Pressure Sensors from Schneider Electric Enable Pump Manufacturers to Increase Profits
PALATINE, Ill. – June 21, 2010 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced the addition of OsiSense™ XMLK pressure sensors specially designed and suited for pumping applications. The new cost-effective range of sensors includes eight pressure ranges, (four sizes in psi and four sizes in bar), while maintaining both precision and proven reliability. The compact design is easy to use, ensures quick and simple selection, and doesn’t require recalculation of equivalent bar and psi values during installation.
A cost effective solution ideal for price sensitive OEM’s, system integrators and control panel builders in compressor control, irrigation systems and other pumping applications, the OsiSense XMLK product line offers a flexible, uncomplicated pressure sensing alternative. Proven ceramic cell technology maintains high mechanical performance while providing an analog 4 to 20mA or 0 to 10V output signal, M12, DIN43650A or Packard electrical connections and both ¼” NPT or ¼ Gas BSP fluid connections. When used in conjunction with Schneider Electric Altivar variable speed drives, the sensors enable constant regulation of pressure in a network, regardless of flow rate, while ensuring optimal motor efficiency which helps minimize energy consumption.
Bulk packaging of the new OsiSense XMLK reduces waste, saves time to unpack and offers buying flexibility of either individual or bulk packaging options.
