North American Adaptation Center For Sensor Modifications
North American Adaptation Center For Sensor Modifications
The North American Adaptation Center was established in the spring of 2005 to create a simple and effective way to satisfy customer needs when requiring special features on any sensing product, particularly inductive and proximity sensors.
The NAAC is equipped to handle Type “A” modifications which are classified as any cable or labeling alterations to the external housing of the sensor. A customer can specify a reduced cable length, customized bracket style or label requirement and any specialized type of connector according to the application requirement.
What can the NAAC do for you?
- Sensors with an undesired cable length can be cut to requested specified length.
- Sensors needing a customized connector, cable or bracket style can be refitted according to an application specification.
- Often customers require special label printing or placement on the sensor. The NAAC can reprint and reposition labels accordingly.
- If a sensor needs fitted for a specific connector, the process can be completed at the NAAC.
The NAAC is one of the few sensor manufacturing facilities that has an adaptation center available for customers. No order is too small to be completed. The NAAC creates value by accommodating a customer’s needs with a quick turn-around time on products that do not require electronic or internal circuitry modifications.
